Ohio Dominican's Jake Kuhn Honored at NFF Scholar-Athlete Banquet

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senior defensive lineman Jake Kuhn (Pataskala, Ohio) recently received accolades by the Columbus Chapter of the National Football Foundation (NFF) as the top scholar-athlete from Ohio Dominican's football program.

The 50th annual Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet acknowledged 13 high school and seven collegiate football scholar-athletes in the Central Ohio area. Kuhn, a history major, was presented with a plaque and received recognition at the event, which was attended by more than 400 people.

Kuhn, named one of the team captains at the start of the year, finished his senior season with 23 tackles (four for loss) and three sacks. He earned GLIAC All-Academic honors and the ODU Academic Excellence award and finished his career with 56 tackles and seven sacks.

The NFF and College Hall of Fame is a member-supported non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring the future of amateur football at local, state and national levels. The Foundation with its chapters annually awards nearly $1 million in scholarships to over 3,000 high school and college student athletes for continuing education.
