#1 GLIAC SOUTH - MEN'S BASKETBALL PRESEASON COACHES POLL
ASHLAND EAGLES (19-10, 13-9 GLIAC)

2015-16 Ashland Men's Basketball Preview

Ashland University’s men’s basketball team won a share of its first-ever Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference South Division title in 2014-15. The goal this year is to win the South outright for the first time in 2015-16.

The Eagles boast an all-conference and all-region performer in junior forward Wendell Davis, who led the team in scoring (17.7 ppg.), minutes per game (30.5), field-goal percentage (56.1), free throws made (155), free throws attempted (202) and rebounds per game (8.1) a season ago. AU should expect increased production from sophomore forward Marsalis Hamilton, who averaged 6.5 points, 3.7 rebounds and 17.9 minutes per game off the bench as a freshman.
