#5 GLIAC MEN'S SOCCER PRESEASON COACHES POLL
OHIO DOMINICAN PANTHERS (7-11 ALL, 5-9 GLIAC)

Ohio Dominican Men's Soccer Preview | Roster | Schedule

Just one year removed from a GLIAC Championship and NCAA tournament appearance, and with 16 returners from a season ago, and eight players leftover from the 2013 GLIAC championship team, head coach Willy Merrick and the Panthers will look to return to the conference tournament and beyond in 2015.

Returning to the field for their senior seasons are goalkeeper Justin Alexander and defender Caleb Wilson. Alexander started all 18 games in goal for ODU in 2014, posting 71 saves and four shutouts. The goalkeeper currently ranks sixth all-time at ODU in shutouts with five, while also ranking inside the top eight in goals against average (1.68) and minutes played (1,982). Wilson appeared in all 18 games a season ago, making 17 starts. In 2014, Wilson would help anchor a defense that allowed under two goals per game. Wilson would also find the scoring net last season giving him three goals for his career.

Coach Merrick will be expecting three juniors, Andrew Schwall, Tanner Ebright, and Michael Fragoulis to lead the offensive attack this season. Schwall scored five goals in 2014, ranking second for ODU, while Ebright would tie for the team high in assists with four. Fragoulis would add two goals and one helper last season, as all three would appear in at least 16 games last year.
