#7 GLIAC MEN'S SOCCER PRESEASON COACHES POLL
WALSH CAVALIERS (7-9 ALL, 5-9 GLIAC)

Walsh Men's Soccer Preview | RosterSchedule

The Walsh Cavaliers men’s soccer team rolls into 2015 looking to improve upon last season’s 7-9 overall record with a 5-9 conference mark. Head Coach John Hall is in his fifth year at the helm and looks to guide the Cavs back to the GLIAC playoffs.

The Maroon and Gold will have to overcome the loss of All-GLIAC First Team selection Sam Mountstephens, last year’s leading scorer with eight goals and three assists, and All-GLIAC Honorable Mention Kain Melville. Overall the Cavs will return five of their 11 starters from 2014.

Offensively, Bailey Moody (Jr., Middleburg Heights, Ohio/Midpark) is the top returning scorer as he scored four goals a year ago. Two of those goals came in a 2-1 win against Findlay late in the season as Walsh won three of five to close the season. Michael Saddler (So., Elyria, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) also returns as one of the top assist men on the squad.

Lucas Dunlap (Sr., Coschocton, Ohio/HS) will help lead the midfield and provide senior leadership for the team while Keegan Hall (Jr., Ashland, Ohio/HS) will anchor the defensive back line.
