INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Committee has released this week’s Division II women’s basketball regional rankings. The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has three teams listed in the fifth region poll of the 2010-11 season.
Michigan Technological University (No. 1), Grand Valley State University (No. 3), and Lake Superior State University (No. 8) each earned a place in this week's regional poll.
The regional rankings will be released weekly on Wednesdays through March 2, 2011. The top eight teams in the final regional poll will earn berths to the Division II Women's Basketball Tournament.
