2015-16 Lake Erie Women's Basketball Preview

The Lake Erie College women’s basketball team looks to make a splash in the GLIAC this season.  The Storm returns their leading scorer from last season Kayla Gabor.  As a freshman, Gabor averaged 12.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 40.4% from the floor. Senior Kaeding Skelton shot 48.4% from the floor last season, averaging 6.9 points and 4.8 rebounds per game.  Classmate Sami Narducci averaged 6.2 points and 2.3 assists per game with 60 steals.  Fellow senior Shelby Carpenter also averaged 6.2 points per game with 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists.  She tallied 47 steals.  As a team, the Storm led the GLIAC with 12.0 steals per game.

The Storm welcome three freshman this year, guard Victoria Burdo, post player Sophie Sonneman and wing player Megyn Christensen.  Once again, the Storm his led by Head Coach Bob Booher in his 11th season.
