GLIAC -- It all comes down to this.

A highly-competitive, tightly-contested and exciting 2023 GLIAC Football season will draw to a close Saturday with the final weekend of league games, culminating with the crowning of a conference champion or champions.

No. 2 Grand Valley State (8-1, 5-0 GLIAC) can win the title outright with a win over No. 16 Davenport (8-1, 4-1 GLIAC) on the Lakers' home field, Lubbers Stadium. The Panthers claim claim their share of the championship with a win against the Lakers. Game time is set for 1 p.m. in Allendale.

No. 6 Ferris State (7-2, 4-1 GLIAC) can also secure a piece of the 2023 title with a win versus Wayne State (3-7, 2-3 GLIAC) and a GVSU loss. The Bulldogs and the the Warriors are set to square off at 1 p.m. at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids.

Michigan Tech (5-4, 1-4 GLIAC) will host Saginaw Valley State (5-5, 2-3 GLIAC) in a 1 p.m. contest at Kearly Stadium in Houghton. Both Huskies and the Cardinals are looking to finish the season above .500.

Northern Michigan (0-10, 0-6 GLIAC) will finish out the 2023 campaign at home with a nonconference showdown against Northern State (4-6, 4-6 NSIC). Kick off is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Superior Dome in Marquette.
