BAY CITY, Mich. -- Lake Superior State junior golfer Zac Carson has been named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Men's Golf Athlete of the Week after he earned medalist honors at the Northern Michigan Wildcat Invitational last week in Marquette.

Highlights: The junior from Oshawa, Ont. shot an opening round of 75, tying him for fourth place after the first day of the tournament. His second round score of par-71 tied for the best individual score of the tournament and propelled him to his first tournament victory at the 2015 Northern Michigan Wildcat Invitational. |
