TU's Brant and UF's Eric Named GLIAC Men's Outdoor Track and Field "Athletes of the Week", Respectively

Bay City, Mich. -- Tiffin's Ramone Brant (Columbus, Ohio) and Findlay's James Eric (Beavercreek, Ohio) have been named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Men's Outdoor Track and Field "Athletes of the Week", respectively as announced by the league office.

Senior ~ Columbus, Ohio
Senior Ramone Brant hit a provisional qualifying mark. Brant won the 110 hurdles in a time of 14.57. Brant was one of three Dragons track standouts provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Division II national championship meet on the day. His time is currently the fourth-fastest time in NCAA Division II.

James Eric ~ University of Findlay
Senior ~ Beavercreek, Ohio
Senior James Eric of The University of Findlay men’s outdoor track and field team won the hammer throw with a heave of 195’09 on Friday, March 20 at the Wake Forest University Open in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Eric was an All-American during the indoor season in the weight throw.
