BIG RAPIDS, Mich. - The 2010 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships wrapped up with final day competition on Friday (May 7) at Ferris State University's Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids, Mich.
Ashland captured the men's team championship for the third consecutive year in a closely-contested battle with Grand Valley State as the Eagles finished with 208.50 points compared to 197.50 for the Lakers. GVSU held a six-point cushion heading into the final completed event, but Ashland picked up 20 points in the men's discus to earn the title.
