LEXINGTON, Ky. – Grand Valley State's women's volleyball team jumped six spots from No. 18 to No. 12 in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) while Ferris State dropped one spot to 15th.
The Lakers picked up two wins at home, sweeping Walsh 3-0 and defeated Ferris State 3-1 in Allendale, Mich. GVSU now stands 9-2 and remains unbeaten (7-0) in the GLIAC.
The Bulldogs, who are now 8-3 overall, suffered their first loss to the Lakers last Tuesday.
