GLIAC -- The Ferris State Bulldogs picked up a dominant 37-10 win over Central Missouri Mules in the Super Region 3 Semifinal of the 2019 NCAA Division II Football Championships on Saturday (Nov. 30) at FSU's Top Taggart Field.

The GLIAC Champions opened postseason play with a convincing 37-10 victory over the number four seed in the region. Following Travis Russell's 58 yard TD pass to freshman receiver CJ Jefferson, and Jackson Dieterle 38 yard FG, the bulldogs went into halftime with a 16-7 lead. The Mules converted on a 26-yard field goal to begin the second half, and would not score again. The Bulldogs responded with three straight rushing TD's from junior Marvin Campbell, making the final 37-10. FSU's defense also had a big day, intercepting Central Missouri's quarterback Brook Bolles four times and sacking him twice. 

The Bulldogs will host Northwest Missouri State in the NCAA quarterfinals on Saturday, Dec. 7, scheduled for 1:00pm at FSU's Top Taggart Field.
