EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Eleven Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Softball student-athletes have been selected to the 2015 Daktronics All-Midwest Region Teams. Three GLIAC student-athletes were recognized on the first team, while eight achieved second team status.
The Ashland Eagles landed a pair of first teamers in senior outfielder Taylor Menhart and junior pitcher Sarah Alley along with second team first baseman Jen Moore to give AU three honorees. Wayne State sophomore Lyndsay Butler grabbed the final GLIAC first team selection as a utility pitcher after a year where Butler was named GLIAC Pitcher of the Year. The Warriors also put three on the achievement list with Jade McGarr (3B) and Kristen Lucas (OF) being named to the second team. Ohio Dominican collected a pair of second teamers as well in freshman Taylor Kline (SS) and sophomore Kelly Wallace (UTL).
