Katie Chipman Named WGCA Second-Team All-American

CORAL SPRINGS, Florida - Grand Valley State senior Katie Chipman has been named to the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division II All-American Second-Team for the second-consecutive year it was announced by the WGCA. Chipman, who is the first-ever GLIAC Women's Golfer to be named the league Player of the Year three times, is now a WGCA three-time All-American.  

 Chipman, who tallied a scoring average of 73.53 and ranked 18th nationally, won two tournaments and finished among the top five four times during the fall portion of the schedule. Following a fourth-place finish at the Indianapolis Fall Invitational to open the season, Chipman won the Gilda's Club Invite with a -2, 70. In addition, Katie won the Chippewa Invitational with a -3, 141 and finished second at the Women's DII National Preview with a +3, 219. Chipman was also named First-Team All-GLIAC four a fourth consecutive year.
