GVSU, AU, Ferris State Steady Inside AFCA Football Top 10

WACO, TEX. –  Three Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) football programs are ranked inside the top seven of the 2016 American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' Poll after three weeks of action. Grand Valley State remained No. 2 after the Lakers racked up 741 yards total offense and downed Northern Michigan, 50-7. Ashland maintained its No. 5 ranking once again after shutting down Findlay, 35-3. Ferris State fell one spot to No. 7 after narrowly escaping Northwood 27-26 as Jajuan Pollock caught a 5-yard touchdown pass from Reggie Bell as time expired giving the Bulldogs a school-record 28th-straight regular-season triumph.
