Tiffin University quarterback Antonio Pipkin has accepted an invitation to the Reese's Senior Bowl.

Pipkin is the first player in program history to garner such an invitation, and according to ESPN Analyst and Tiffin University Hall of Famer George Whitfield, he is only the third NCAA Division II quarterback to receive an invite. Statistically, Pipkin is the greatest quarterback in Tiffin history, owning career records in pass attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns, plays, 300-yard passing games, and total offense. Over the course of his time at Tiffin University, Pipkina compiled 10,940 passing yards, 980 completions, 88 touchdowns, a 64.7% completion percentage, and threw for 300 plus yards in a game 15 times. Pipkin also showcased his athletic ability with a ground game that saw him carry the ball 509 times for 2,207 yards and 25 touchdowns.

Pipkin, a 4-time All-GLIAC selection, was named GLIAC Offensive Back of the Year in 2015, and improved upon that by being named GLIAC Player of the Year in 2016. In the GLIAC record book, Pipkin is the all-time leader in career plays (1851), pass attempts (1369), completions (870), and passing yards (9,671). He ranks 2nd in career total offense (11,749), trailing only Jason Vander Laan, a 2-time recipient of the Harlon Hill Trophy.

At the NCAA Division II level, Pipkin is 13th all-time in career total offense (13,147), 27th in career passing yards (10,940), 19th in total offense per game (298.79), and is only the third quarterback ever to accumulate at least 2,000 yards rushing and 10,000 passing yards.

The Reese's Senior Bowl is held in Mobile, Alabama at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. The game will be played on January 28, at 2:30 pm ET, and will be televised nationally on the NFL Network. The Reese's Senior Bowl currently has 500 former participants on active NFL rosters, and nearly 30 percent of the NFL is comprised of Senior Bowl participants, according to their website. The Senior Bowl saw 21 former participants play in the 2016 NFL Pro Bowl. The rosters are divided geographically and the two sides are each prepared for the game by NFL coaching staffs. According to the Senior Bowl website, nearly 1,000 NFL general managers, head coaches, assistant coaches, personnel directors, scouts, and other front office personnel from the 32 NFL clubs attend the Reese's Senior Bowl.
