GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its fourth Men's Tennis weekly awards for the 2020 season. Wayne State sophomore Max Rink claimed GLIAC Player of the Week honors.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Max Rink - Wayne State
Wayne State University sophomore Max Rink (Wetzlar, Germany) helped the Warriors to their seventh win in eight matches, by recording a pair of victories over Hillsdale in a 5-2 WSU triumph on Sunday. Rink and partner Pierre Renaudie clinched the doubles point at the third flight after a 7-6 (7-5) tiebreak win. At No. 3 singles, Rink notched a 6-3, 6-3 victory. He is currently 6-2 in singles matches and undefeated in doubles matches (6-0).
