Three Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) women's soccer teams were named 2014 NSCAA Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award recipients. Michigan Tech, Northern Michigan and Northwood all earned silver recognition after finishing the season without a red card and no more than five cautions.

In all, 125 teams received either the Gold, Silver or Bronze version of the College Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award, which recognizes teams that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game, as reflected by the number of yellow caution cards or red ejection cards they are shown by referees throughout the season.

A total of 82 teams claimed the Silver Award, which is given to teams that accumulate no red cards and a maximum of five yellow cards, while the Bronze Award went to 35 teams, which is presented to teams that receive no reds and a maximum of 10 yellows.

Level explanation follows:

Gold: No cards accumulated during the season

Silver: No red cards and no more than five yellow cards accumulated during the season

Bronze: No more than 10 cards accumulated during the season
