Ferris State Volleyball Ranked 11th; MTU 21 In AVCA National Poll

 

AVCA--Two Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) programs rank inside the top-25 in the first American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) National Poll. Going undefeated during opening weekend, the Bulldogs from Ferris State moved up to No. 11, while the Huskies from Michigan Tech moved inside the top-25, at No.21 following a win over No.9 Southwest Minnesota State. Other GLIAC teams receiving votes in the Preseason Poll, were Ashland (38) and Saginaw Valley St. (4).
