Michigan Tech Advances, FSU & SVSU Fall in NCAA Midwest Region Quarterfinals

NCAA - The 2019 NCAA Division II Women's Volleyball Tournament got underway Thursday (Dec. 4) with three Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) teams in action at Romeoville, Ill. on the campus of top-seeded Lewis University for the NCAA Midwest Regional. 

The No. 6 seed Michigan Tech Huskies earned a convincing 3-0 win over the No. 3 UMSL Tritons in the first round before No. 5 Rockhurst eliminated No. 4 Ferris State in a thrilling 5-setter, while No. 8 Saginaw Valley St. was defeated 3-0 by top-seeded Lewis.
