BAY CITY, Mich. -- Hillsdale freshman Halle Hyman has been named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week as she continues her impressive debut season with the Chargers.

Highlights: Hyman went 4-0 while competing in the No. 1 flight in both singles and doubles for the Charger women’s tennis team over the weekend. She improved her combined record to 10-4 on the season with wins at Lake Superior State and Michigan Tech Saturday and Sunday, respectively. Hyman earned a 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 win over LSSU No. 1 Sarah Awe at No. 1 singles followed up by a straight sets victory (6-3, 6-2) over Michigan Tech No. 1 Vicky Quinde. |
