BAY CITY, Mich. -- Northwood sophomore Oleisa Riabchuk has been named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week after the Timberwolves clinched a share of the 2015 GLIAC Women's Tennis Championship heading into this week's 2015 GLIAC Women's Tennis Tournament as the No. 2 seed.

Highlights: Riabchuk posted a 3-0 record for Northwood last week, helping the Timberwolves earn a share of the GLIAC Championship. She went 2-0 at No. 3 doubles with partner Anastasiia Kazub and 1-0 at No. 3 singles. Riabchuk was leading 7-6, 4-2 in her other singles match when the contest was halted. She has won nine straight singles matches and seven straight doubles matches and stands at 18-3 overall on the season. |
