GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced that Lake Superior State sophomore forward Grace Bradford has been honored as GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week and GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week following Week 7 of the 2023-24 women's basketball season.
OFFENSIVE AND DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Grace Bradford, Lake Superior State
Lake Superior State sophomore forward Grace Bradford helped lead her team to their first victory of the season at Ill.-Springfield on Sunday to close out 2023. She finished the night with 15 points, including a pair of clutch baskets to keep the Lakers ahead for good after the Prairie Stars got back to within one in the fourth quarter. She was also able to secure 15 rebounds to lead all players, including four on the offensive glass to keep LSSU possessions alive, and she got her teammates involved with a pair of assists as well.
