Five GLIAC Women's Golf Programs Clinch NCAA Tournament Bids; FSU's Lawson

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) qualified to compete at the 2017 NCAA Women's Golf East Super Regionals. Defending GLIAC champions Findlay are second with Grand Valley State holding the No. 4 spot, while Northern Michigan (No. 5), Ashland (No. 6) and Northwood (No. 7) all prepared for postseason competition. Ferris State sophomore Destiny Lawson also qualifiied as an individual and will head to the postseason.

The NCAA East Super Regional will be held at the NCAA DII East Regional Monday, May 8-10 at the Glenmor Country Club in North Canton, Ohio.

Four, 54-hole Super Regional tournaments will be conducted to determine the participants in the championships finals. The NCAA Championships will be held May 17-20 at Findlay Country Club in Findlay, Ohio, hosted by the University of Findlay.
