Detroit, MI – The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced Jake Riepma will host a weekly football podcast, “GLIAC Football Weekly.”
The audio program will be recorded each week of the football season and available for download on Apple iTunes, Google Play, Spotify, and available to stream through GLIAC.org and D2football.com.
“GLIAC Football Weekly” will be dedicated to covering the latest on the gridiron in the GLIAC. The show will consist of a long-forum audio program with a featured interview and a question and answer mailbag format, and anything else to enhance the coverage of GLIAC Football.
As the host of “GLIAC Football Weekly,” Riepma brings a wealth of experience in both audio content and GLIAC football coverage.
Riepma played football at Northwood University from 2011-2015 and earned the 2015 Jack H. Mcavoy award. He is the son of the late Pat Riepma who coached at Northwood University for nearly three decades. Riepma has a Master of Science in Broadcast Journalism from Northwestern University and currently works for Entercom Detroit as a Sports Update Anchor at 97.1 The Ticket WXYT-FM. Riepma is also the GLIAC columnist for D2football.com and hosted GLIAC Media Day earlier this month.
The first episode is set to be available for download and streaming on Wednesday, September 4.
