BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards following Week 4 action. Grand Valley State running back Kirk Spencer earned GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Tiffin's Stefan Willis garnered GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week distinction along with Dragon teammate Tomislav Derezic who captured GLIAC Special Teams Player of the Week accolades for the second time this season.

| Highlights: Spencer accounted for 252 all purpose yards and five touchdowns in the Lakers' 65-23 win over Lake Erie. Spencer rushed for 164 yards (8.6 ypr) and four TDs, while tossing a 29-yard touchdown pass to Jamie Potts. Spencer scored on runs of 68, 6, 10 and 6 yards and his four rushing TDs were the most in a game since 2012 and his five TDs accounted for were the most since 2001. | |||

| Highlights: Willis led the Dragons defense, making 2 critical interceptions in TU's 27-24 overtime win at Malone. Willis first pick came early in the fourth quarter and stopped a Malone drive at the goal line, while his second interception ended the game as he picked off a pass on 4th and 4 in overtime. He also had 6 tackles in the game along with a deflection. | |||
