BAY CITY, Mich. -- The bracket for the 2015 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women's Basketball Tournament has been set with Michigan Tech holding the top seed along with home-court advantage throughout the league tournament.  Quarterfinal action at campus sites will begin on Wednesday (March 4) with the final four teams competing on the campus of the highest remaining seed.

Wayne State earned a 70-52 road victory at Findlay to lock up the No. 2 seed and will face the No. 7-seeded Walsh who took down crosstown rival Malone 86-65. Ashland recorded a 75-38 road win at Lake Erie to claim the No. 3 seed and match-up with No. 6 Northwood who picked up an overtime win over Lake Superior, 78-73.

Grand Valley State picked up a big 104-73 victory on the road in Big Rapids over Ferris State to land in the No. 4 spot. The Lakers will play host to the No. 8 seed Northern Michigan Wildcats who fell to the top-seeded MTU Huskies, 63-50. Both Findlay and Hillsdale entered the final night of the season tied for the eighth and final spot in the tournament. While both the Oilers and Chargers lost on Thursday, Hillsdale earned the No. 8 seed by virtue of the tiebreaker point system used to break ties in different divisions.
