ATLANTA, Ga. – Wayne State and Grand Valley State's women's basketball programs are ranked in USA Today Sports Top 25 Division II Women's Basketball Coaches' Poll.
The Warriors jumped from three spots to No. 8 while the Lakers cracked the top-25 at No. 24.
Wayne State is coming off a 2-0 weekend in GLIAC play to start the season 4-0 overall. GVSU is off to a 5-0 start for the first time since the 2010-11 campaign. It also won its first four games by at least 10 points, joining the 1975-76 Lakers as the only other club in school history to pull off such a feat.
