Ashland Falls to Lewis 83-76 in NCAA Women's Sweet 16

INDIANAPOLIS — Michigan Tech hosted the 2015 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Midwest Regional for the third time in the last six years as it was awarded the region's top seed. After Ashland earned a lopsided upset victory over Michigan Tech on Saturday night, the Eagles were unable to upend Lewis who heads to the Elite Eight after an 83-76 triumph. 

The loss marked the end of Ashland head coach Sue Ramsey's. Ramsey, who announced her retirement at the end of the season after two decades on the AU bench, ends her Eagle run with a record of 367-217 (.628), five trips to the NCAA Tournament, two berths in the Division II championship game and a national title in 2013.
