GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced that Northern Michigan junior guard Makaylee Kuhn has been recognized as GLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week following week 14 of the 2022-23 season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Makaylee Kuhn, Northern Michigan
Makaylee Kuhn led Northern Michigan to two home wins, 73-67 over Parkside and 65-61 over Purdue Northwest. Kuhn averaged 26.5 PPG and 8 RPG while shooting 60% from the floor. Against the Rangers, she went 10-19 (52.6%) from the floor for 22 points. She also led the team with nine rebounds. Kuhn followed it up with a season-high 31 points on 11-16 (68.8%) against the Pride. She’s now reached 1,433 career points, good for ninth on NMU’s all-time list.
