NSCAA Women's Soccer Poll: GVSU 3rd

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Grand Valley State Lakers improved to No. 3 in the latest 2015 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Women's Soccer Rankings. The Lakers displayed their dominance at home last week with a pair of 7-0 victories over Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan. GVSU, winners of 14 consecutive matches, leads the conference with a 10-0 conference record and have outscored conference foes 56-1 this season. The Lakers boast the No. 2 scoring offense in Division II thanks to defending National Player of the Year Marti Corby who leads the country in assists (13) and leads the GLIAC in goals (18), which ranks third nationally. Kendra Stauffer ranks second in the league with 11 goals as Lakers hold the top four spots in conference assists leaders.
