GLIAC Recognizes 10 CSCAA Spring Scholar All-America Teams

CSCAA Official Release

GLIAC--The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected a record 789 programs from 461 institutions to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2020 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring grade point averages and represent 17,982 student-athletes.

Overall, 10 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Swimming and diving programs achieved this distinguished recognition. This includes 5 women's teams and 5 men's teams from: Ashland (Men & Women), Davenport (Women) Grand Valley St. (Men & Women), Northern Michigan (Men & Women), Saint Cloud State (Men), and Wayne State (Men & Women).

Additional institutional adjustments to grading systems resulted in GPAs nearly one-quarter letter grade higher than previously. As a result, the CSCAA will not be publishing team GPAs. This Semester’s list also does not include teams at institutions that switched entirely to pass/fail grading.
