Grand Valley State No. 3, Saginaw Valley No. 13 in Latest United Soccer Coaches Women's Soccer Rankings

KANSAS CITY, MO. — Two teams are highly ranked inside the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) national women's soccer rankings after two weeks of action. Grand Valley State maintained its position at No. 3 in the country following a pair of shutout victories, while Saginaw Valley moved up three spots to No. 13 after a 1-0-1 weekend. 

GVSU posted victories of reigning G-MAC champions Ohio Valley by a 1-0 decision before dominating Bridgeport, 6-0. SVSU recorded a 2-0 victory over Missouri-St. Louis before posting a 1-1 draw with Maryville to move to 3-0-1 on the year. Ashland is also receiving votes in this week's poll after shutting out both Notre Dame (3-0) and Bridgeport (2-0) last week to improve to 3-0-1 this season.
