Northwood's Sydni Harding is women's golf player of the week

GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its Women's Golf Player of the Week award for spring events through March 27, 2019. Northwood's Sydni Harding is this week's recipient following her win at the SVSU Spring Invitational.

WOMEN'S GOLFER OF THE WEEK: Sydni Harding - Northwood

Sophomore Sydni Harding (Grand Blanc, Mich.) took medalist honors after firing a 73-75--147 at the SVSU Spring Invitational held Saturday and Sunday at Kearney Hills Golf Club in Lexington, Ky. She led Northwood to a third-place team finish. The Timberwolves' first-round round team score of 305 was its lowest in school history. Harding beat Tiffin's Amanda Johansson by two strokes.

She also tied for 10th the Butler Invitational held March 11-12 in Jacksonville, Fla.
