GLIAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 6

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards after the second week in October. Saginaw Valley State junior forward Jordan Kalk earned GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after a pair of hat tricks, while teammate sophomore goalkeeper Alex Bouillennec collected GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week accolades.

Highlights: Kalk had another stellar weekend in a pair of victories for the Cardinals. He recorded back-to-back hat tricks, scoring three goals in a 5-1 win Friday at Walsh before adding another three with an assist in the team's 9-0 shutout over Malone on Sunday. The six goals give Kalk 15 on the season, which leads the nation and is just two shy of the SVSU program record. The hat trick against Malone on Sunday marks Kalk's third this season.

Highlights: Bouillennec upped his record for the 2015 season to 10-1-0 after notching a pair of victories on the weekend against Walsh and Malone. He posted his third shutout of the season in Sunday's 9-0 win at Malone and was 25 seconds away from one on Friday, as a late penalty kick gave Walsh a single goal.
