GLIAC Men's Soccer Players of the Week - Week 7

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards after the third week in October. Tiffin senior forward Karl Jones earned GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Northwood senior goalkeeper Johannes Sterobo collected GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week accolades as he continues his impressive shutout streak.

Offense
Karl Jones Tiffin Forward Sr.

Highlights: Jones scored 2 goals with 2 assists during Tiffin's 2-0 week. He scored a goal in a 2-0 win against Walshs then factored in every score in TU's 3-1 win over Malone. He opened scoring with a goal in the first 15 seconds, then assisted on the next two goals. 

Defense

Goalkeeper Sr.
Highlights: Sterobo picked up his seventh and eighth shutouts of the season last week in a pair of wins, beating Lake Erie 2-0 and Ohio Dominican 5-0. Sterobo has not allowed a goal in eight games, a span that now covers over 754 minutes dating back to September 25.
