BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards heading into the final week of the regular season. Lake Erie senior midfielder Anthony Novak earned GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Ohio Dominican junior Shane Facemyer collected GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week accolades.

Highlights: Novak recorded four goals in two victories for the Storm, including a hat trick at Walsh. Novak led Lake Erie to big wins over Malone (3-0) and Wash (6-0). He amassed 13 shots during the weekend, including eight shots on target. |

Highlights: Facemyer assisted in two shutout victories for the Panthers this past weekend. Facemyer added one goal in the 3-0 win over Walsh and assisted on the game-winning goal against Malone in a 1-0 victory. Facemyer helped a defense which allowed on average just 10 shots per match, and nine total shots on goal. Facemyer has started every game this season for ODU. | |||
