GLIAC Volleyball Players of the Week - Week 4

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced weekly volleyball awards following the second week of conference play. Grand Valley State freshman middle hitter Staci Brower captured GLIAC North Division Player of the Week honors, while Ashland junior outside hitter Alli Cudworth collected GLIAC South Division Player of the Week accolades.

Highlights: Brower led No. 21 GVSU to a pair of road sweeps, as she hit .404 in the wins and averaged 4.67 kills, 1.17 blocks, and 5.30 points per set. She totaled 28 kills and seven blocks against Malone and Walsh. Brower posted 18 kills and only three errors for a .455 mark against Malone, while adding six blocks in just three sets. Brower followed with 10 kills and a .316 clip in the win over Walsh. She recorded eight kills in three different sets over the weekend.

South Division
Alli Cudworth Ashland Outside Hitter Jr.
Highlights: Cudworth tied for team-high with 11 kills, had team-high four service aces, added seven digs at Michigan Tech. Against Northern Michigan, Cudworth recorded a team-high 17 kills, added three service aces and seven digs. The two-match sweep marked the second consecutive time AU swept the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (2013).
