Ashland No. 6 in USA TODAY Women's Hoops Poll

The Ashland Eagles moved up one spot this week to No. 6 in the latest USA TODAY Sports Division II Top 25 Women's Basketball Coaches' Poll after beginning the year with a perfect 14-0 record, including 8-0 in GLIAC play. The Eagles recorded a pair of home victories over Northern Michigan (75-49) and Michigan Tech (69-63).

The Eagles are the lone GLIAC women's hoops team to appear in this week's rankings and will face Walsh and Malone this upcoming week.
