Three GLIAC Football Programs Inside AFCA Top 10

WACO, TEX. –  Three Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) football programs are ranked inside the Top 10 of the 2015 American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Division II Coaches' Poll after Week 8 of the season. Ferris State continued its unbeaten season with a 24-14 nationally-televised victory over then No. 17 Michigan Tech to move up to No. 3 in the nation. Ashland improved three spots to No. 5 after a 41-40 comeback victory on the road at Northern Michigan to set up a huge Top 10 matchup with Grand Valley State who bounced Findlay 52-7 to move to No. 9 in the rankings. Michigan Tech fell five spots to No. 22 after the loss to Ferris State to keep four GLIAC squads inside the Top 25.
