2015 D2CCA Football All-Super Region Four Teams Announced

Ferris State's Jason Vander Laan repeated as Division II Confernce Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) Super Region Four Offensive Player of the Year, while Grand Valley State's Matt Judon added D2CCA Defensive Player of the Year to his impressive resume.

Overall, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) earned a region-best 19 awards with seven first teamers and 12 second team selections. Ferris State tied with Colorado State-Pueblo with five honors to lead the region, while Grand Valley State, Ashland and Midwestern State all amassed four honorees each.

Vander Laan, the current Harlon Hill finalist, rushed for 1,542 yards and 24 touchdowns in 2015 while passing for 2,625 yards and 27 more scores. Vander Laan finished his career with the most rushing yards by a quarterback (5,923) in the history of college football.

Judon, the 2015 Gene Upshaw Division II Lineman of the Year was also the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Year after leading all of college football with 20 sacks. The 6-4, 255-pound defensive end racked up 70 tackles including 23.5 for loss.
