BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards following the opening weekend of the 2015 football season. Tiffin's Antonio Pipkin earned GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Grand Valley State's Matt Judon captured GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors along with GVSU redshirt freshman punter Collin Cribley who claimed GLIAC Special Teams Player of the Week accolades.

| Highlights: Pipkin completed 80 percent of his passes for 265 yards and one TD while rushing for 155 yards on 12 carries (12.9 yards per rush) with 3 TDs in a 34-13 win over Walsh. Pipkin passed George Whitfield for 3rd in TU career TD passes with his performance. He accounted for 420 of TU's 490 yards of total offense. | |||

| Highlights: Judon opened the 2015 season in fine fashion as GVSU claimed a 36-28 win over Southwest Baptist. Judon tallied 4.5 QB sacks (-21) and nine total tackles (5 solo/4 assisted). Judon's 4.5 QB sacks ranks second all-time in a single-game for GVSU, just behind the single-game record of five. Judon also set the tone as GVSU tallied nine total QB sacks (-53) and 16.0 tackles for loss (-69). In addition, Judon deflected a late pass that was picked off. | |||

| Highlights: Cribley averaged 42.7 yards per punt on seven punts in his first collegiate football game. Cribley had a long punt of 51 yards and dropped three punts inside the opponents 20 yard line. The average starting position for SBU following a punt was its own 20 yard line. | |||
