NORTH CANTON, Ohio – Former Walsh wide receiver Joseph Morgan has recently signed with the Baltimore Ravens and will be a part of the team's 53-man roster. He will take former All-Pro Steve Smith Sr.'s spot on the roster following Smith Sr.'s season-ending Achilles injury that place him on the injured reserve list.

Morgan originally signed with the New Orleans Saints as a free agent in 2011. During his career, he has caught 14 receptions for 471 yards and three touchdowns. The majority of that came in the 2012 season when the explosive receiver caught a pair of touchdowns against Tampa Bay and one against Green Bay.

This season Morgan has played in two games with one start with the Saints.

During his two-year career at Walsh University, Morgan caught 79 passes for 1,317 yards and nine touchdowns. The Cavaliers went a combined 15-7 during that time.
