Eagles are seventh and Lakers ninth in this week's WBCA Poll

LILBURN, Ga. - Ashland and Grand Valley State both moved up one spot in this week's Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Top 25 Poll, which was announced Tuesday.

The Eagles (13-1) improved from eighth to seventh following last week's victories over Michigan Tech, 80-58, and Northern Michigan, 71-55. AU travels to Parkside and Purdue Northwest this week.

Grand Valley State (13-1) jumped from 10th to ninth after knocking off Ferris State, 76-61, and Lake Superior State, 71-50. The Lakers play host to Saginaw Valley State and Northwood in upcoming games.
