GLIAC -- The Ferris State men's and women's basketball teams are headed to the Elite Eight of the 2024 NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament. 

The Bulldog women are making their first-ever appearance in the Elite Elite. FSU (25-5) is the third seed and will face the No. 6 seed, the University of Tampa (31-6), on Monday, March 25  at the St. Joseph Civic Arena in St. Joseph, Mo. Tipoff is set for 1 p.m. ET.

Ferris State defeated the nation's No. 1- (Ashland) and No. 2-ranked (Grand Valley State) teams in addition to Lewis to claim the Midwest Regional championship and advance to the national quarterfinals.

The Bulldog men, the 2024 GLIAC Tournament champs, are making their third trip to the Elite Eight in program history. Ferris State (28-7), the No. 8 seed, will meet No. 1 Minnesota State (32-2) on Tuesday, March 26 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Ind. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

The Bulldogs downed Northern Michigan, UIndy, the region's host and No. 1 seed, and Lake Superior State en route to the Midwest Regional title.
