Ashland No. 23 in NABC Men's Basketball Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- For the sixth consecutive week, Ashland University's men's basketball team is ranked in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II Top 25 poll, the latest of which was released on Tuesday (Jan. 19).

The Eagles, 13-3 overall and 7-3 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, are ranked No. 23 in the country. This marks the sixth consecutive week AU has been in the Top 25 – the first time the program has accomplished the feat in a single season since 1990-91.

Ashland also was ranked No. 17 on Jan. 12, No. 21 on Jan. 5, No. 16 on Dec. 29, No. 22 on Dec. 15 and No. 18 on Dec. 8. This is the 69th week all-time that Ashland has been in the Top 25.

The Eagles are the lone representative in the GLIAC in this week's Top 25 poll.

This week, Ashland will go to Findlay (10-5, 7-3) on Thursday (Jan. 21) at 7:30 p.m. in a battle for first place in the South Division. AU will finish the week with a game at Wayne State (2-11, 2-8) on Saturday (Jan. 23) at 3 p.m.
