GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced the third GLIAC Lacrosse Athlete of the Week awards for the 2022 season. Davenport received both awards as sophomore midfielder Anna Glynn was selected as Offensive Player of the Week and redshirt freshman goalkeeper Maisy Latus was named Defensive Player of the Week.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Anna Glynn, Davenport
For the week, Anna Glynn (Rockford, Mich.) racked up nine goals on 16 shots, 14 of which were on goal, with 12 ground balls, one caused turnover, and three draw controls. Wednesday at Quincy, all six of her shots were on target and her 11 ground balls were seven more than her previous career high.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Maisy Latus, Davenport
Redshirt freshman goalkeepe Maisy Latus (West Henrietta N.Y.), saved two shots on six faced at Quincy and 12 on 41 faced at #2 Indianapolis.
