Lake Superior Improves to No. 18 in Latest NABC Men's Basketball Rankings; Ferris State Steady at No. 5

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Ferris State and Lake Superior State are once again ranked insde the latest National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Division II Top 25 poll released on Tuesday (Dec. 12) following the second week of league competition.

The Ferris State Bulldogs are once again ranked No. 5 in the country with a nation's best 12-0 record and 4-0 in the GLIAC. FSU earned two more victories last week on the road over Northwood by 11 and Saginaw Valley by 36. 

Lake Superior State (9-1, 4-0 GLIAC) jumped six spot to No. 18 in this week's poll after a pair of victories over the same two opponents as FSU and LSSU are travel partners. The Lakers defeated Saginaw Valley by 29 on Thursday before defeating Northwood by 16 to complete the weekend 2-0.

Ferris State travels to Sault Ste. Marie this Saturday (Dec. 16) for a 3 PM showdown with Lake Superior State.
