GLIAC Men's Basketball Players of the Week - Week 2

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced weekly men's basketball awards following the second week of the regular season. Hillsdale senior forward Kyle Cooper captured GLIAC North Division Player of the Week honors, while Ohio Dominican sophomore guard Ronnie Williams collected GLIAC South Division Player of the Week accolades.

North Division
Kyle Cooper Hillsdale Forward Sr.

Highlights: Cooper got off to a great start in the 2015-16 season opener for the Chargers, leading Hillsdale to a 92-87 win at No. 8 Indianapolis. Cooper led all scorers with 32 points, on 12-for-17 shooting from the floor. He also had 10 rebounds and three blocked shots while playing all 40 minutes in the victory for Hillsdale.

South Division
Ronnie Williams Ohio Dominican Guard So.

Highlights: Williams scored at least 18 points in each of the two games for Ohio Dominican. Williams shot 56 percent from the field for the week. Williams posted a season-high 21 points at Notre Dame (Ohio) while adding a career-high five rebounds and five assists. He scored 18 points in 18 minutes in the 104-69 win over Silver Lake, including four rebounds and four assists against the Lakers. Williams shot 50 percent from behind the arc in the two games and is averaging 16.0 points per game on 54.8 percent shooting this season. Williams now leads the GLIAC with 12 three point field goals made this season.
