Walsh's Hardin, LSSU's Daly Tabbed GLIAC Hoops Players of the Week

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced weekly men's basketball awards following the completion of cross-divisional league action. Lake Superior State senior forward Devin Daly captured GLIAC North Division Player of the Week honors, while Walsh senior guard Jesse Hardin Jr. collected GLIAC South Division Player of the Week accolades.

North Division
Devin Daly Lake Superior State Forward Sr.

Highlights: Daly scored 26 points and recorded a career-high 15 rebounds during an 87-75 loss at Ohio Dominican. Daly followed it up with a 24-point performance and earned his ninth double-double of the season after hauling in 12 rebounds during a 76-63 victory at Tiffin. Daly averaged 25.0 points and 13.5 rebounds per contest, including 11-for-11 from the free throw line on the week.

South Division
Jesse Hardin Jr. Walsh Guard Sr.

Highlights: Hardin Jr. averaged 28.5 points per game and scored a career-high 45 points in a big win against Ferris State on Saturday. The feat was two points shy of a GLIAC single game record and three points shy of a school record. Overall, Hardin Jr. hit 74.1 percent (20-of-27) of his shots in two games. He was 15-of-19 overall and 8-of-10 from behind the 3-point line in the win against Ferris State. His final trey with two seconds left gave Walsh a thrilling 81-78 victory over the Bulldogs. He showcased his defense with eight rebounds and four steals against Ferris State.
